Overview
We have permission to add yarn tassel garlands and small crocheted, knitted or woven pieces to the ceiling tiles in the art hallway or the courtyard areas of the school.
For this assignment you must carefully plan your installation and the time needed to make it happen. Once all of your materials and details are mapped out and garlands are made, you will install your art either during a single class period or in a pre-planned after school session. To truly be guerrilla art there must be a surprise element to your public art installation so you don't want the public to see it done in stages. It should just show up. Please view the video and gallery below for inspiration and tutorials.

If you want to do a smaller but more detailed installation there are tons of really cool tutorials online for macramé wall hangings, dream catchers and woven flowers that you could look into. I am attaching a tiny sample of what is out there. Please research techniques that are interesting to you and let me know what you find. We might be able to make it work!
