Breaking up your negative space is one way to achieve an engaging composition. For this assignment, you will be using watercolor to highlight your negative space by adding color and a variety of watercolor techniques while leaving your positive space blank.

Watch the following you tube videos for tips on different watercolor techniques. The first video is the most important as it shows a variety of techniques. I included the other two videos so you could see the applications of the wet on wet and splattering techniques. I want you to chose 2 or more techniques for your negative space on this project. Your techniques should be identifiable and executed well.
