Overview
For this assignment you will use one of the following 3 photos to demonstrate your new-found skills with graphite and pen.
First lightly draw the outlines of your 2 mannequins. You want to be careful to achieve the correct proportions during this stage of your drawing. It is difficult to erase large sections of shaded work if you realize you made a part of your mannequins are the wrong size.
You will need to finish one mannequin with a range of values in graphite and the other using your hatching or stippling techniques in pen. Make sure that you are carefully matching the placement of your values. This will be what makes your shapes (2D) start to look like forms (3D).
Once you have finished a mannequin in pen and one with pencil, use your watercolors to paint your background. Choose any color or colors that you like. Be mindful of your craftsmanship and do not get paint on your finished mannequins.
